Competition Troupe

Streetz Ahead entered their first competition in 2006- “The British Troupe Championships” junior section and Won 1st Place.

Since then we have gone from strength to strength becoming regular contenders at “The British Troupe Championships” as well as “Festival 4 Stars” and local festivals. Our dance squad consists of Junior, Intermediate and Senior members making up 3 separate troupes as many competitions are split by age in to different sections. Streetz Ahead are developing an exciting reputation at competitions. This is due to the energy and high standard at which the students perform. All dance troupes consists of students from each school that have successfully auditioned or reached the standard to which is acceptable to perform at these events.

Being in the Troupe is an added commitment as extra training is essential as well as costumes for the event. Students and Parents must be dedicated to attend each rehearsal as failing to attend results in letting the whole troupe down. If you are interested in your child being considered to be part of a troupe please ask Michelle (Principal in class time.)
