COMMUNITY EVENTS
At Streetz Ahead we pride ourselves on working close with the community. We offer pupils the opportunity to take part in many events and are privileged to have been asked and performed in the following-

Nov 2010 and 2011- Lord Mayor Show London-
Streetz Ahead represented Pimlico Plumbers – dancing for 3 miles at the televised event through London. Everyone thourghly enjoyed themselves and felt very honoured to be asked to perform in this magnificent parade.

 



October 2011- Millfield theatre-
All pupils did themselves proud when performing a years worth of material. Streetz Ahead regularly give pupils the chance to perform at professional theatres.

June 2009,2010 and 2011 Town Meade Show Waltham Abbey-
Streetz Ahead regularly perform at this community event showcasing routines on stage to many crowds.


FEB 2011- HAITI EARTH-QUAKE APPEAL- 7HR DANCE –A –THON!
Pupils danced for 7hrs non stop!!! To raise money for Haiti. Everyone worked extremely hard and managed to raise £3000 for the appeal. Danielle Lloyd came along to support on the day.


April 2010- Haven House Children's Hospice
Pupils showcased various routines at the famous Leyton Orient Football Club to help raise money for the children's charity.
As well as the above charity and community events, Streetz Ahead regularly perform every year at various school fetes and local fairs.

OCT 11 Kent Dance Challenge- Achieved 2nd place in open section performing Lolly Pop.

SEP 11   Callie Watts and Francesca Davis win talent Competition and achieve a place in the final at
JULY 11   Kenneth Moore Theatre Dance Comp- Woodford Dance Troupe won 3rd place – best Choreography
MARCH 11   Festival 4 Stars Kent Heat- April Briggs, Molly Rose Fells both achieved place in semi finals
MARCH 11   Festival 4 Stars London Heat- Louise Arnold Solo, Emily Redif Solo, Emily & Christina Ring Duet, Emily Redif & Dean Wright Duo all achieved place in semi Final along with the Junior Troupe Jackson Mix
NOV 10   Lord Mayors Show- Streetz Ahead perform the streets of London in the televised parade. Representing Pimlico Plumbers.- (See community Events)
NOV 10   Street Starz Dance Comp- Jackson Mix 3rd place, Kids in America 1st Place – Junior Section. Like a Prayer 1st Place- Senior Section, Emily & Dean Duo- 1st Place, Emily Redif Solo 1st Place, Christina Ring Solo 2nd Place
OCT 10   Kent Dance Challenge- Waltham Abbey School achieved 3rd place best new comers, Woodford Troupe 1st Place Best New comers
JULY 10   Pupils performed at the Girl Guides 100yr Anniversery, performing to 2000 people. (See community events above)
JUNE 10   Festival 4 Stars Kent Region- Kids in America reached semi Finals- (first comp entered for Waltham abbey school)
APRIL 10   Festival 4 Stars- Shout mix reached semi finals
FEB 10   Streetz Ahead raised £3000 in 7hr dance a thon for Haiti Earthquake appeal- (see community events)
OCT 09   British Troupe Championships Final- Shout Awarded 3rd Place- Only school representing London and Essex.
SEP 09   British Troupe Championships Right Round Mix Senior Troupe 7th place out of 34 entries. Shout Mix awarded 2nd Place achieving a place in the final
APRIL 09   Festival 4 stars London Heat Cascada Achieved 1st Place getting through to national finals at Scarborough, Charlotte Power awarded 1st place gaining place at Finals
MARCH 09   Street Starz Dance Comp- Cascada won 1st place, Louise Arnold Solo 1st place, Natasha Pearce and Emily Redif solo joint 3rd place, Charlotte Power Solo 1st Place, Fame 2nd Place.
OCT O8   British Dance Troupe Championships- Fame awarded 2nd
Gaining a place in the finals.
AUGUST 08  
Festival 4 Stars Stevenage- Footloose reached semi finals
Along with Robyn Hail and Georgia Simpson Duet.
April 2008  
Congratulations and Good Luck to Georgia Simpson who has been awarded a place at the Sylvia Young Stage School. Georgia first joined Streetz Ahead when she was 7yrs old in 2004 and has gone from strength to strength. Sylvia Young was very impressed at Georgia's audition piece where she performed the competition routine Strut by Cheeta Girls, and commented on what a high standard of dance Georgia performed. Along with this Georgia also sung a musical theatre piece and showed off her brilliant acting skills.

Georgia has made us all very proud at Streez Ahead.

Festival 4 Stars London Heats April 08
Achieved a place in the semi finals performing footloose, Fame, and under 12 duet with Charlotte Power and Lauren Halil. All of the girls worked extremely hard well done!

December 2007   Both Glade School and Woodford School came together to perform a christmas spectacular - "STREETZ AHEAD A CHRISTMAS FAIRYTALE" at Woodbridge High school.
Well done to everyone who took part & to all the parents for their support, it was a very high standard show and a brilliant night.

Sept 2007   Streetz ahead Dance routine 'Footloose' picked with the highest marks taking them through to yhe British Dance Finals.
March 2007   - Competed in the Festival 4 Stars Competition in London.
Regional Finalists Group Dance. Achieving a place in the regional final group dance.
Feb 2007   - Appeared in Her Majesty's Royal Variety Show at Her Majesty's Theatre Haymarket.
Nov 2006  
Oct 2006   -Won The Junior Disco section at the British Dance Troupe Championships dance Festival.
